Research Study Evaluating the Effectiveness of Caution Signs and Cones

The most common caution signs and cones were evaluated in a perception study with 246 participants to determine the effectiveness of the delivery of the warning message. Four products were tested (2 signs, 2 cones). Results show that “Banana Cone” significantly outperformed all of the products examined, more than 12x that of standard A-Frames.

Banana Cones are specifically designed to enhance safety by preventing slips and falls. Their unique shape and bright color serve as a visual reminder to exercise caution in areas prone to slippery surfaces, reducing the risk of accidents.

Customizable

Banana Cones are versatile safety tools suitable for various environments, both indoors and outdoors. Made from high quality polypropylene, these cones withstand wear and tear, making them a long-lasting investment in safety.

Visibility and Awareness

The distinctive banana shape of the cones attracts attention and promotes heightened awareness of potential hazards. Placing these safety cones in strategic locations ensures that individuals are more likely to notice and take precautions in areas where slipperiness or danger exists.

Story behind it

It works.

Think about it…

The banana peel slip is internationally known and dates back to the early 1800’s, even making it into the worlds first comedy film.

What do you think of when you see a banana peel on the ground? The unique design draws more attention and people often associate banana peels with being slippery. A 2015 perception study evaluating the effectiveness of caution signs and cones demonstrated that the Banana Cone is up to 12x more noticeable than traditional safety signs.

Not only do the Banana Cones work, but people love them!
